Social Search

Social search complements what you can find with Google and the other search engines.  While Google is ideal for finding a "needle in a haystack" (like looking to see what's become of someone you lost touch with 10 years ago), social search can deliver a comprehensive set of information on a topic, and is usually created by people who are passionate about the subject.

Social search is great for discovering new things you're interested in, when you might not know exactly what keywords to search for.

Interested in liberal politics, lifehacking, Web 2.0, cooking, or body art?  Check out the Eluma collections for them.  You can find hundreds of collections (and growing fast!) on a wide range of topics in our Elumaverse.

Interested in Downhill Skiing?  Type Skiing into Eluma's search box, and you'll find this Skiing collection, with folders for ski portal sites, recommended ski areas, instruction, equipment reviews, the best sites for weather and ski conditions, the best places to get deep discounts on equipment, and more!
