Can we learn from history?

Does anyone use the "Keep History" feature? I thought for sure that *I* would, but it turns out that I don't.
I much prefer getting the most recent version of the RSS feed with no history. It turns out that most of the RSS feeds that I read post articles that are pretty useless after a few days. <shrug>

Does anyone else use "Keep History"?

I do.  First off, its the default when you collect a feed and I usually leave it checked.  Second, some of the sites I collect only put up a new entry once a day or less so I like to know when there are new entries (the number of unread articles is shown in the feed name).

Re: Can we learn from history?

Yeah,

I actually like the distraction of checking my feeds, something to take my mind off my code for a few minutes. :)
I also have a lot of feeds that have LOTS of items per day like engadget, gizmodo and digg; there are so many that I dont mind missing one or six items in a day.

Re: Can we learn from history?

I use Keep History for 2 feeds.  Perhaps half a dozen I am willing to check every day or miss, but two of them I'm often willing to go farther back in time and see what I missed.

Im gonna guess that one of those "must check" feeds is the Huffington Post, right?
