firefox 3 toolbar problem

I have installed and registered for Eluma. The toolbar appears in my FF browser, but doesn't "work," except for the search box. Most of the icons are grayed out, and the ones that aren't (Eluma, My Eluma, Add to my Eluma, Private Note) do not respond when pressed. I've tried restarting FF, logging in logging out, disabling firewall, etc. Desktop app appears to work fine. What am I missing?

What version of Firefox are you running and on what system? Here we run Firefox 2, Firefox 3 RC2 and Firefox 3 released edition and we have done testing on all these. Between Firefox betas and RC2, the mozilla team made changes that affected our toolbar and we had to keep making changes to keep up. So, if you are running an older version of Firefox, that might be one problem.

Otherwise, it should work and we'd like our engineers to be able to get in touch with you to figure out what's going wrong in case other people are seeing the same thing but not reporting it. So, could we either contact you via the email with for the web site or could you send an email to support@eluma.com with a contact email and we will have someone contact you directly?

It's fixed. I decided to uninstall and reinstall Eluma, but when I ran uninst I kept getting the message that FF was running, despite the fact that it was not. Thus I was unable to run the uninst program. I manually deleted the program files, and deleted all the Eluma registry entries. Then I tried installation again and everything was fine - Eluma toolbar is fully functional. The only thing I did differently is that the first time I installed the FF toolbar and not the IE toolbar. The second time through I installed both. I'm using FF version 3 and Win XP Pro SP2.

PS This looks like a great program - congratulations. I'm very happy to have it working in my browser!

Thanks for the report.

It turns out that we had a bug that appeared if a user installed the Firefox toolbar but not the Internet Explorer toolbar. Development has a fix ready for the next maintenance release.
