Early public beta testers have discovered 2 bugs with Eluma and the newly released version of Firefox 3. One has a simple workaround. Both will be fixed in a new beta release coming within the next couple of weeks. All users of Eluma will receive an auto-update notification when the new release is ready.
First issue:
The Eluma Firefox toolbar is grayed out and offline even when the user is online. This occurs if you chose to only install the Firefox toolbar and not the Internet Explorer toolbar. This issue will be fixed in the next beta release of Eluma.
Workaround:
Reinstall Eluma with the Internet Explorer toolbar even if you aren't using Internet Explorer.
Second issue:
After installing the Firefox toolbar, when running Firefox the user receives an error message saying that the Eluma toolbar can't run. Firefox still runs correctly. This is caused by incompatibilities between the Eluma Firefox toolbar and another Firefox add-in and will be fixed in the next beta release of Eluma.
Workaround:
None immediately for Firefox. The Eluma Firefox toolbar is non functional, but the Eluma Internet Explorer toolbar is functional, as is the Eluma application.
