Onfolio Import

Onfolio was a great product purchased by Microsoft & then integrated into Live Toolbar. Since then, MS has done nothing with it.

If you want to get a bunch of users that know how this type of software should work, provide an Onfolio Import function.
I would seriously consider converting my old Onfolio stuff over if you had something like it.

Re: Onfolio Import

yes. onfolio was a very nice product. We've tried to make Eluma more integrated, specifically by integrating feeds and bookmarks into the same collection. Onfolio did some things (like web clipping) that we hope to incorporate into future versions of Eluma.

While we don't have direct onfolio import, it's very easy to import your onfolio feeds. bookmarks are a little tricker, depending on whether you saved bookmarks or web clips/MHT files.

Onfolio lets you export your feeds to an OPML file when you click on the feeds group and choose the export option. Then, in Eluma, you choose the Import Bookmarks and Feeds option under the More menu. You can then specify the file and Eluma will import them as subsriptions.

Onfolio isn't so clean at exporting bookmarks. If you save your onfolio collection as files, Onfolio will create a set of folders with your collection content. Those files will be either MHT files or URL shortcuts depending on how you collected things in Onfolio. Eluma lets you drag and drop all the URL shortcuts directly from Windows Explorer into a folder in Eluma. At this time, we don't support importing MHT files, but it's something we'd like to add in the future.
